My brother and I had one, I think she was a unicorn.
(We never believed she was real though)
It's not the imaginary god part that really bugs me.
It's the laws Religions effect, all the scams, cults, & brainwashing that goes on.

No. I never had an imaginary friend. I was also blown away when a friend said she was worried that there was "something" hiding under her bed, and she had to keep her feet under the covers so it wouldn't "get" her. Another kid was worried about "something" being in her closet. I wonder if religion causes these fears since kids may have been taught that there are "demons," etc. that are out to "get" them.

Dont worry about the answer because very few can see the full blossoming tree in a seed, the ocean in a drop , the perfume in the seed of a flower, the sweetness of honey by a bee. So let them fiddle with the seeds.

No, I didn't.
No one says you CAN'T have an imaginary "friend" you call god.
In fact, a lot of people do.
It's irrational to believe in the reality of one's imaginary entities, but I don't see what can be done about those who do.
As long as you don't keep pestering me to believe your imaginary friend exists, or legislate teaching its existence in schools, or otherwise use it as a justification to make bad law restricting the actions of reasonable people, I have no problem with it.

Yes, I had an imaginariy friend when I was little. But it didn't prepare me for having real friends because the imaginary friend was just a reflection of myself. My friend liked playing with the toy horses because I liked playing with the toy horses. My friend hated cleaning because I hated cleaning.
You can have an imaginary god, but it doesn't help you deal with the real world, either. If a religious person likes gay people, they think God likes gay people. If a religious person hates gay people, the think God hates gay people. Etc. Your imaginary god is just a reflection of yourself.

What makes you think that you must have some kind of moral support from some invisible being? I never felt the need.
