I'm taking it the mother does not have contact?

Lots of families split these days, it's a common thing. It's not really a bad thing as it would be worse for a child to grow up in a fighting environment, with parents that don't get along.

I think you should just adapt to the situation, as there's nothing you can do. It's not the child's fault that they are in this situation.

maybe you should stop seeing him for awhile, explain that you really like him but that you think he should have his full attention on his son right now. its not wrong if they're relationship broke up and you just happened to meet but i think if you are feeling bad you have to take yourself out of the situation and maybe he will get back with her, then you know you weren't meant to be, then again he might come back in a month or so and be ready for you then and at least then you'll know and you wont feel so bad about it

Children are very resilient and adapt quickly to those that give them love and attention. I think the worry is more with you than the baby, try not to show your concern too much, as this will be picked up on.

That is not your fault, but be carefull not to take any time away from the baby. The baby needs to bond with the father too. But you are doing nothing wrong.

What is bothering you is the fact that the guy is obviously a total cretin, but yet you are insecure enough to be flattered by his attention. Walk away.

HOW CAN YOU DO IT? You'll give a birth one day, be depressive, fat and lonely. Just imagine your man dating another woman. Now answer your own question.
