Depends on who is eating it. Fettuccine Alfredo might be lost on little kids, but if you're trying to impress a date, homemade Fettuccine Alfredo will probably do much better than Mac & Cheese. Just be sure to make you're own Alfredo sauce. It isn't much harder than popping open a jar, and tastes so much better.
Of course, Mac & Cheese has its place too. If made from scratch, it can be a nice comforting meal. And for one of "those" days, the stuff from the box works great too.

Fettuccine Alfredo is better for adults the Mac and Cheese is always a favorite of kids. I like the Fettuccine Alfredo from the Olive Garden too.

Well for an at home dinner, I'll go with Macaroni & Cheese.
At a restaurant, Fettuccine Alfredo with a glass of Chardonnay.

Fettuccine Alfredo of course made with soy milk & a little chicken & real butter. MMMMMMM. Not in a kit tho.During poor years I ate too much mac & cheese-
that is cheap. & its yellow cheese which blocks the arteries.

Something tells me Maccaroni and Cheese are the new Fettucine Alfredo. The latter are so 90s, everybody was doing them back then. We are obviously talking something better than the college-student nuke pack, I suppose - Mac & Cheese the sophisticated way, with unheard of, exotic bits in it, prepared using overkill kitchen equipment available only to those who've been to Japan and appreciate weird and exclusive things.
Raving now, I know, but it's in my name, I guess...

Fettuccine alfredo of direction. with chicken or tofu made with soy milkbut genuine butter &noodles made with amareth selfmade. MMMMMMM Mac & cheese too sugary& cheese is a blocker
