I'm probably sure that your credit isn't that horrible. I thought when I applied for credit, my response wouldn't be Yes or NO, It would be LOL.

I am now applying for financing, and a dealership wanted to approve me on the vehicle I didn't want, and Dr.credit said I have new credit. (It wouldntve been a problem to finance me without a co-signer, had I been at my job for more than 3 months) Would you have a co-signer?

Check to see if its new credit, and not bad credit. That could really make a difference on your interest rate, as well as how much this investment will really cost you. Ask the dealer, what your credit report said and take it from there

Or obtain your credit report....

Also, has whatever that's messed up your credit been more than 6-7 years old? if not, and you are between 18-29 your credit is going to be considered new!

(negative credit info older than 6-7 years becomes irrelevant. You could actually write to the credit agencies and demand, under law, to remove personal info....and debts outstanding for more than 6-7 years)

ask the search for used cars and look for the lots that will give you a car with payments at their office ..... as you pay on time you will build a credit rating that will repair the non-existant credit history ..... ask the lot to report you to the credit bureau as a good pay .... when you finish the payments and be on time with the payments ....
