yes it seems neurological. see if you can get a "brain scan" on your dog. she has definitely had seizures, but they could be caused by a tumor. I'm sure you really love your dog and i love dogs too. take her to the vet immediately and demand that they check her brain b/c she may not live much longer if left untreated.
if it cannot be treated, spend a week or two just spending time with her keeping her comfortable, give her table food(as long as she doesnt get sick) to try to cheer her up, maybe even a couple cheeseburgers. explain to your son that she cannot be with us anymore and she'll be in "doggie heaven" soon :-(

You need to go back to the vet again.
I'm afraid neurological problems are very tricky to sort out - 3 or 4 visits to the vet may be only the beginning. If there is a neurological problem here, antibiotics and steroids are not going to resolve it, although make no mistake this is a perfectly reasonable form to treatment to start off with, before more hugely expensive diagnostics and surgery are attempted.
One single blood test coming out normal is not the end of the road, it's barely the beginning. What was the blood test? If it was a basic panel it will have been checking her internal organ function e.g liver and kidneys.
Your dog may need to be referred to a specialist for an MRi scan - obviously this needs to be done through your current vet, so go back there and ask what the next step is.

It definitely sounds like some kind of neurologic problem. I don't understand why your vet didn't do a neurologic evaluation including skull x-rays, perhaps EEG. A blood test won't detect any neurological-type disorder.
Why not either suggest this to your vet, or (what I'd probably be doing) find a new vet.

I'd also advise seeing a new vet. Get your old records and have them transferred for sure. This does seem like it could be neurological. Your current vet seems to be treating the symptoms rather than the cause.
Good luck

If it were me, I would take her to another vet, just for a second opinion. You never know if the first vet could have missed something, somewhere. It does sound like it could be neurological. Whatever it is, I do hope it gets better for her. Good luck!

I really don't think you have to worry about your son's health/safety.
I would however go and get a second opinion... Keep a log of everything she does, what she eats etc.. Make an appointment with another vet.. And see what he says.
I am not sure what you mean by refusing to shake??

Well, i'd give your dog a week to see if the meds help by then cause sometimes it starts working after the meds are gone. If not, I think the best thing for your dog would be to put it to sleep. Let her finally rest from the pain. I'm so sorry.

I suggest get a scan of her brain it sounds neurological to me. If all else fails, I would prep yourself for putting the poor dog to sleep. Good luck!

I think you need to get back with the vet and he may need to refer you to a specialist. This is almost certainly a neurological problem but a specialist is probably needed to figure it out.

I would seek a second opinion. Maybe take her to an animal hospital where they can run a differnt set of blood work and a head scan.
