You should definetly play at Doral, they have like seven golf courses all open to the public. The famous won being the blue monster. The pga golf tour plays there every year. During the hot summer you can probably play it for $100. otherwise $250. I would also recommend the White course designed by Greg Norman. Also, The Links at Key Biscayne is also great but usually windy.

Paul S. had some good courses, but they are expensive and a good tee time are hard to come by.

Miami Beach golf course has been renovated to be a good course and it's a little more affordable also the Biltmore in Coral Gables is nice. If you want to play an inexpensive, fun & historical course there is Granada Golf course also in Coral Gables, the oldest public course in Florida (9holes, 2par 5, 4par 4, 3 par 3). By the airport the is a really nice public club but you have to deal with the planes. One that many people forget is the great Don Shula's Golf Course, afterward you can dine at Shula's Steakhouse one of the best steak houses, they also have a par 3 course to practice your short game.
