Actually, it will if you ever try to get an FHA or a VA loan. (If you are eligible for a VA loan). If you have ever been convicted of a drug-related charge, FHA will not insure the loan. If you ever try to go to college, it will also bar you from receiving Federal Student Loans, and force you to take out high-interest private loans. PS: These questions are on the loan application and if you lie about it, it's punishable by up to a $10K fine or 5 years in prison.

You may now be ineligable for certain government loans/grants for education.
As for credit, if you stiff your dope dealer and he reports you to the credit bureaus as defaulting on a payment then you will see your credit score lower. JK, don't be silly.

No. Credit bureaus (3 of them) don't list any
criminal charges.
if its a misdemeanor, and sounds so, if your were
only cited, you can have it expunged in a few years
after no more offenses.

I don't believe credit companies have access to your criminal record unless the crime had to do with your dealing with money. So you should be good
