Christians and muslims are dumb because they base their belief on faith, which means, do not question , just follow what is written in the book . The church and mullahs has to say that because otherwise, the Bible or the koran becomes a crock, with many inconsistencies and many things that simply do not make sense.
So they stay dumb and traditional for another couple of years?
just follow the book means - god made Adem and Eva according to the book so never ever listen to Dr. Darwins theory... something like that.

Where does Science say the mass of the Universe came from.
It's eternal. Always been there. Conservation of Mass.
So, we have to start with the leap of FAITH, a belief in something that has always existed and will always exist (sounds a little like God to me).
I followed things in a book once. It said the universe was in Steady State and Pluto was a Planet and only Saturn had rings.

big difference between faith and BLIND faith. most religions, you're right, have blind faith. however only faith is needed in the bible. in other words i am saying that the bible does not contradict, have inconsistencies, or needs to be concerned with mens traditions and customs. if you truly studied the bible you wouldnt follow without question, you would see plainly how it fits together and then do what you KNOW to be right.

To study and understand the Bible requires thought and reason. To reject it out of hand does not.
To accept as random chance that each intricate part of life has purpose and requires all of the other pieces performing their purpose all at the same time is the hight of stupidity.
Purpose cannot be derived by chance "by the very definition of chance".
What you have done is embraced your own god (chance) and have named him evolution so that you can deny the true God of the universe.
