I prefer Happy Eaters. The last time I went into a Little Chef, when the chef asked me how I'd like my steak cooked, he was so young that I replied "Preferably by your Mother" ! ! !

I think only the Little Chefs are left in the Uk. I used to like the Happy Eaters, but I think they were bought out by somebody....it may even have been LCs.

They were both horrible.. Gone broke and closed down I think... Other firms run motorway stops On A roads Macdonalds now seem the norm.

Neither - they were both rip offs. I'd rather eat in a transport cafe - good well cooked food, lots of it and at a good fair price!

Why? As in why would you do that to yourself? It is bad enough catching sight of pikeys and chavs out of the corner of my eye but actually eating with them, uggghhh shudder retch.
