I have enterted into a CFA but Im abit confussed as the solicitors said that its a no win no fee but then said, i have to be aware i may have to pay here costs for the case. Can someone explain this and why???

I do have legal expense cover but they have said that this was taken out by m,y broker not insurers, thats why im confussed???

I don't know what CFA is, BUT, no win no fee applies only to your costs. If you loose the case you will most likely have to pay the costs the other side have incurred.

Your own costs are covered if you lose but you will have to pay the other sides costs ( I don't think you can insure against this) The other side will pay your costs if you win

If you lose the case, the court costs of the other party can be awarded against you, in that scenario you would have to pay them.

if you don't win you don't pay your solicitors fees, if you do win you then have to pay your solicitors fees.

but if the case goes against you I'm not sure if your liable for the other persons fees!

So: Why didn't you have legal expenses insurance? It would have cost you less than £20.00 when you took out your policy.
