the bible says not every one saying lord lord will inherit everlasting life so while confessing Jesus as lord is important ,it is good to why its asked of Christ followers 1 Christ said his followers would be hated so their willingness to speak up about their faith and belief in him shows they truly have faith in promises of bible 2 confessing him also shows one is following the command he gave at math 28:19&20 where all of his followers are commanded to go and preach about him

Heart, soul, AND mind appear to be equally important, according to Matthew 22:37, Mark 12:30, and Luke 10:27.

"Heart faith" (adjective and noun together) is not a Biblical term that I am aware of. I understand what is meant by it, but unless our minds are also fully committed to Jesus as Lord, faith can be reduced to an emotional experience. And emotions aren't very trustworthy.

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved
It says that you have to have faith and truly believe then you will confess to others.
God Bless

i'm no longer certainly one of Jehovah's Witnesses yet i'm a student of history and faith. i do no longer bypass alongside with the doctrine that Jesus is God Almighty. i do no longer see this as a theological difficulty. the certainty that Jesus is the son of God who replaced into despatched by using the father would not coach that Jesus is one and the comparable in substance previously and after his delivery as someone. such rather some scriptures to validify that he's a separate guy or woman and not a factor of a trinity to coach his acceptable sacrifice is sufficient for the redemption of mankind's sins. Jesus prayed to his Father that his followers would be one in basic terms as he and his Father are one, in theory and purpose in basic terms--John17. certainly you will agree he replaced into no longer asserting they'd be a factor of a Godhead. Many verses may well be used to make sparkling Christ's unique oneness with God even although he replaced into no longer the Almighty in human sort and after his ascension to heaven. think of approximately it, would desire to God Almighty Himself actual enter into human sort and redeem mankind! it would not be a ransom of equivalent stability for mankind would it not?--a million Ki 8:27; Mt 20:28; a million Ti 2:6; a million Co 15:40 5. the assumption-touching directly to the trinity is being promoted on your question and so there's a biased view out of your viewpoint. a extreme look at non secular history is with a view to make certain that this doctrine is of pagan theory, alongside with a private learn of the completed bible canon won't provide help to this coaching, yet will coach that Christ isn't a factor of a trinity doctrine. With love in Christ, C

It's only important to Christians. I could care less if someone believes in the divinity of Jesus or not. Only the Christian god is petty enough to torture people forever for being having doubt or skepticism. The real reason it is important is to keep people in the Christian religion, filling the pews and collection plates.

Because only God really knows our heart. He is the only one who knows if we are completely honest about our faith.

Your heart pumps blood. I can take your heart out and put in another and your beliefs won't change.

Beliefs=brain. Brain beliefs.
