Do you think that God has sent a prophet in physical form to Earth now?

alot of people think that God sends prophets to earth to help guide man when there are difficulties on earth for mankind. Eg...Moses for the Jews in Egypt....Guru Nanak for the Hindus when the Muslims were attacking/occupying India....Jesus for the poor/jews/etc that were under the Roman yoke...Mohammed for the Arabs that were not unified and were attacking each others tribes....Krishna when the Indian Rajas were suppressing their own people with evil deeds....etc....Do you think there is someone now?

Oh yes of course! India tends to have a lot of prophets on a regular basis. Some work quietly without venturing outside of their area, some do travel a bit in India, but never have gone outside of India.

There is someone now that has had a tremendous impact globally touching people of all religious, cultures, races and countries. Her name is Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amma for short. Her name means "Mother of Immortal Bliss" because it is blissful to be in Her presence which is very true for me! "Amma" means Mother. She is known famously as the "hugging saint." Really, Amma is much more than just a hugging saint. She is also one of the greatest humanitarians we've all had the privilage to have here among us. Also Her knowledge and wisdom is so vast. Everything that She teaches involves all of the Truths that have been found in all of the religions. This is quite remarkable for someone that has not had any education beyond the 4th grade.

Amma had a Divine birth. She was born in a poor fishing village in Kerala, India. The night before She was born, Her mother had a dream that she gave birth to Krishna. Her father also had a dream of the Divine Mother. When Amma was born, She was born blue like Krishna and was smiling. She remained blue for several months.

At the age of 6 months, She just got up and started walking and talking bypassing the crawling and other development stages. At the age of 2, She was already singing and compiling devotional songs to Krishna yet no one had taught Her these things.

It was in Her early 20's that She manifested Krishna in Her local village. Devotees then started flocking to Her. Amma then started manifesting Divine Mother as well. Throughout Her 20's, She had done numerous miracles, such as turning water into pudding, healing leprosy, various ailments, and even raising the dead a few times.

Then She started focusing on being our Divine Mother by giving all that come to Her for Her love and compassion. That is when She started embracing everybody one by one. Thirty years later, now Amma travels globally 8 months of the year embracing everyone of Her children which She has done endlessly for the past 30 years never taking a day of, forgoing sleep and food.

I met Her for the first time two years ago, and ever since, Amma has truly shown me who She really is. I've had so many amazing experiences. She proves to me that She "listens" to my every thought, that She's with me every moment. I'd think a thought, and I'd get a message right away from Her telling me that She heard me thinking those things. I've had so many prayers answered instantly. She also comes to me in dreams and visions giving me Her endless love no matter where She is on the globe. All of the devotees that I know have had the same experiences.

What's also so remarkable about Amma is that She truly truly loves every single one of us. She built thousands of free homes for the poor living in shacks or those whom lost their homes in the tsunami. She askes for nothing in return and constantly gives and gives.

Just the mere sight of Amma with my own eyes, my heart just bursts with pure love and it makes me cry. No words are needed to just know who I am looking at. That is very powerful. Only God can do this, can touch our hearts that way just by "being." When I am with Her and in Her arms, I just know without a doubt in my mind and heart that She is my Mother. It must be experienced in order to understand.

In India, when Amma travels, as much as 200,000 people show up, packing areas the size of a football stadium. When She goes to France, as much as 50,000 show up to see Her. In 30 years, Amma has embraced 30+ millions of people which is unbelievable! A lot of Catholics relate very strongly with Her because She really resembles their version of Mother Mary. People of all religions and nonbeliefs flock to Her, even bikers, drunks, etc. and She turns no one away. Amma's religion is Love which is universally understood by all.

And only those from a very small geographic area as well! Hmmm....... He forgot about women and the Chinese too! not to mention the American Indians! I guess if you only read The Torah the Gospel and the Koran ( all the same god) you would have to think that way. By the way he chose only women to give birth to the Prophets(crafty god indeed!)! You must be so proud being a MAN, Gods chosen, sooo special, yep reach down and feel proud, so very proud!

There is a prophet of God currently living on the earth. His name is Gordon B. Hinckley, and he currently leads The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka The Mormon Church) under God's direction.

the help of God is always available to man....we do not need a specific prophet to help us

jesus made it possible for the holy spirit to be available to anyone who called upon God for help.

there may be individuals who are close to God and hear from him...and can relay God's thought to others....this is called the gift of prophesy.....but be aware there are false prophets who come in and mislead people.....

a true prophet is 100% correct...never makes a mistake....

It is possible, but not probable. The numbers on earth have grown, along with the different beliefs in religions.

He has, he is the Head of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And he doesn't suppress us at all.
