I was a Trekkie before Trekkies were cool!
Did you see the Star Trek episode about the Roman Empire? They were having troubles with "sun worshippers"...
At the end, Uhura realizes that they aren't "sun worshippers"...but Son worshippers. This is not the only episode that indicates that Rodenberry may have believed in God.
But I can name a famous A*T*H*E*I*S*T:
Joseph Stalin
EDIT:
It is a mistake to assume that, because a man is a scientist, he must therefore also be an atheist. If you happen to have a copy of Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time", as I do, you ought to read Chapter 11, "Conclusion". If you have read it, you know that Hawking obviously believes in God. His reverence for God is unmistakable in his writing. His very last sentence: "If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason--for then we should know the mind of God."
It is also a mistake to get all of your information about great men of history from biased sources. These great men are, unfortunately, dead...and can no longer speak for themselves. Thus, there are all sorts of people with "agendas" willing to put words in their mouths that they would be apalled to know they had spoken. Sometimes all it takes is one or two "quotes" taken out of context.
Believe or not, it's your choice...but don't base your belief or lack of same on popular trends, or what you think other folks may or may not believe.
Here's another great quote:
"For God's sake, child, you have a mind of your own, don't you?
Use it!!"
~~my Dad...
or this one:
"Mypublicident is an idiot."

Mark Twain.
Bertrand Russel (a noted maker of teapots)
Reallytrue, provide a link and a validation for that claim. Anybody can publish anything online, and anybody can claim that something was published online. Or are you claiming that Einstein was a bald faced liar up until the day he died.
Some late comer is writing a book that, from what I have seen of the excerpts only Confirms Einstein as a Deist following Spinoza's concept of a universal spirit.Nothing at all in there about Einstein being a Christian. And whether Einstein liked it or not a Deist is a type of atheist.

By the way Stephen Hawkings believes in the same god as Albert Einstein which is not your abrahamic god so stop claiming them as your own
also we don't want Stalin he created a cult of himself
Russians love a trust Stalin to this day
and would re-elect him were he alive
