Do they actually understand these issues?

The second law of thermodynamics is all about entropy and is explained really well in the attached link

It is in no way a barrier to evolution.

And as for irreducible complexity, every single example of this I've seen put forward requires just 5 minutes research to find it explained beautifully through evolution.

Do these guys just accept what gets thrown at them in church, or do they just chose to read the wrong material when researching.

If they're looking for evidence of evolution, there's a mountain of it.

Do they just chose to ignore all the evidence around them for evolution, or are they scared of it?

They choose not to understand, and they are scared.

I don't know what the mental process is, maybe as soon as they start understanding properly some of the concepts about evolution, they feel that they are being tempted by the devil, and are sinning by understanding..

Or maybe they just don't like thinking about things independently, and prefer all ideas to be predigested by God, and his ministers on Earth, and spoon fed to them.

Anyway I have seen a lot of creationist material, and it all has a gross misrepresentation of what evolutionary theory is; they set up a load of rubbish as evolution and so easily discredit it.

But you also have to think about the crowd that those ID proponents are talking to. They definitely aren't trying to convert scientists. Regular people don't know those facts and that makes them more gullible.

They don't even know the definition of evolution...you expect them to know big words like those?

Please, the flagellar motor took several hundred man-hours to debunk. It was the closest to science ID ever came.

Evidence? There are too many missing links. Evidence seems that God made everything as we see it.
