you need to add more protein to your diet. Protein is going to keep you from feeling hungry and also it increases weight loss. For breakfast add scrambled egg whites. At lunch Add some beans in the soup. also experiment using tofu. I think your diet is good as long as you add a little more protein.

Hi,

All sounds good, but perhaps a little too light on calories and some essential fatty acids (eat some nuts and tuna to correct this, or an organic egg!)

The best way to judge how good you meals are is to keep a food dairy and note how each meal makes you feel, ie, after two hours do you still feel full, are you snacking excessively etc. this could slow down your time to your target weight.

You may want to take in more vits and minerals, take in some tuna, drink fresh home made smoothies. eat pinaple and strawberries (great for weight loss) drink caffine (increases heart rate slightly and in some people can accelerate the burn of fat)

anyway, bottom line is, its healthy if you enjoy it and makes you feel good. Good luck.

Beneficial yes.....Based on your caloric intake for the day you will consume roughly 1/3 pound. Normal bodies like 2/5 pound to maintain weight. So you are consuming 1/15 less than recommended to maintain weight. Make sense? Exercise a little extra too and this will help =)

Katie - more power to you honey - you shame me! I'm needing to lose about 2 stones (minimum) but there is no way I could torture myself with that. I had mushroom and tomato omelette and a slice of 50/50 bread (with spread) for brunch. For dinner, I'm making stewed sausages (which I'll grill to get most of the fat out!) in gravy with carrots and onions, served with potatoes, cabbage and turnip. As you can see, I'll be having plenty of vegetables!! Good luck to you Katie, you deserve to lose more than five pounds, lol!

Sounds great. whole grains are a big key for healthy eating. And, as long as you are watching the sugar grams, you are doing very well! :o)
