By the way, he gave himself three points! Stopping at a red light isn't difficult. The vast majority of us mange perfectly well day in day out. We might take a chance now and then but if we get caught out we only have ourselves to blame.

Everyone is saying another 9 its not. For the first 2years you only have 6 points to play with, so he has only 3 points left untill 2 years time then he gets 12 and the points come off i n 3 years ok, so tell him to go carefull.

I think you'll need to say that it was you driving. Your company will be sent a request to disclose who was driving the vehicle (as the car is registered to them). They will ask if it was you, and you can either take the blame, or try and explain that you let an uninsured friend drive it for no particular reason. Most companies have inclusive insurance policies, basically meaning that anyone can drive their vehicles, but they tend to get very upset if you just let anyone have a play with their cars.

9 more in the next three years, easily collected and then your insurance premiums will go very much higher when you can drive again. So be careful when you park and think you have an open road. Do not drink and drive it is not worth getting caught and even less worth killing or injuring someone

Another nine points - either speeding, going through another red light, using his mobile, tyres worn, loads of things.
