The man with the smith would win by far Smith and Wesson's are probly one of the best Revolvers in the world and made rite here in the US.Desert Eagles on the other hand are made in Isreal, I wouldnt wipe my *** with toilet paper from Isreal. The 44 mag was made to be shot out of a revolver therefore at the end of the shell casing it has a rim and a automatic case has a groove made for autos I have read article after article about 357 and 44 DEs jamming due to the rim on the casing.

Who would win a fight with a Smith and Wesson revolver or a .44 Desert Eagle?
Answer: The better pistolero.
I think what you are trying to ask is: Who has the better defensive weapon?
Provided that the S & W revolver has a 4" barrel and it is loaded with 125 grain jacked hollowpoint .357 Magnum ammo, THAT is the best manstopper to date. The Desert Eagle does hold more rounds, but is far more unwieldy than the revolver and is more prone to jamming. All factors considered, the revolver is the better defensive weapon, but neither shooter would be underarmed in this scenario.

The Desert Eagle is weighing in as a Heavy Weight. The Smith is tips the scales as the Middle Weight Contender.
The bell rings and Eagle comes out swinging. Haymakers flying left and right. Smith is against the ropes. Nobody in the audience can believe that Smith can take such a beating.
Rounds 2,3 and 4 are exactly the same. Now Eagle is tired. He wonders how Smith, an old man and a historical icon, is able to take this kind of abuse. Now Eagle starts to show some respect for Smith.
Just as the bell rings for 5, Eagle slowly gets up and starts limping into the middle of the ring. Smith stays standing in his corner. Out of no where, an arrow pierces the lung of Eagle... he takes four steps and drops gasping for air. He looks up and out of the corner of his eye, he sees Fred Bear in a tree stand, having coffee with Sam Colt. The ref just so happens to be Dan Wesson. The ring girls are all carrying Lady Smith .357s. And from out of no where a shot rings out from 1000 yards away as the final bullet is put into Eagle from a Sharps 45-70.
So to answer your question, and you wanted it in a fight version, Smith and Wesson wins because he has more friends and can stand the test of time.
You should pick mine as best answer simply because I did not call you a retard like the rest of people did.

The gun has no bearing on the outcome. The shooter would be the determinng factor of the fight.
Strategy, tactics, skill, and proficiency.
The right guy with a .22 could beat the wrong guy with a Howitzer - if he knew what he was doing.

It would depend on the skill of the person using each gun. The desert eagle may be more powerful, but in the hands of an inexperienced user, that extra power would mean nothing.

They are not going to fight each other all of a sudden unless you use Voodoo or something freaky to turn them alive.
If you're talking about two guys fighting, it depends on the competency of the two shooters.
I am just as likely to take out the gangster with his MAC-10 with my 1911 if he is not competent.

If you can fatally hit your opponent in six shots then the S&W is your friend hands down. If you can't, or just like being able to reload quickly, the Eagle would be good. Although, the Eagle kicks A LOT so you wouldn't be able to shoot nearly as fast as with the S&W so...it's up to the shooter I suppose.

That's easy. The damn desert eagle would probably jam, so definitely the revolver. Don't believe all the crap you see in Hollywood productions. The desert eagles are overpriced pieces of junk.

That would totally depend on who and where the first person would get hit with either gun, and there determination and stamina to continue returning fire until someone was incapacitated*....The caliber of the gun would not be a determining factor, only where they got hit on their body*...

The one who fired fired their shot with accuracy. gun type doesn't matter. I would be more afraid of the person with a single shot that knew how to use it, then some one with a machine gun who did not.
