How did they make the cheese in the first place? By introducing bacteria into it. Overnight, left out on the counter. I say if it still smells good and it still tastes good, use it. Besides. If it is unopened then it is still in it's original seal. I have had this happen with yogurt and it was still ok to eat. Feta is a much harder cheese. NOW, if you left it in the back seat of the car with the windows up...toss that puppy.

Go for it! After all, blue cheese is molded cheese, so why not eat feta cheese that was left out overnight? Besides, you won't know if it's ok to eat unless you try it. So if you puke, then you know it wasn't a good idea.

Amazingly yes, cheese was discovered/invented as a way to
make a nutritious dairy product that wouldn't spoil in about
4 hours like warm milk. cheese lasts for days, and longer if
refrigerated to extend that time.

In the summer it is not good to leave cheese out for that long. It is a dairy product and should be kept chilled.

i think it's safe to eat as you've only left it overnight.. besides, cheese is made from fermentation.
however, if the temperature is too high, it might be unsafe. say it's more than 40 degrees. cause high temperature causes food to go bad.
