Does the color of your "number 2" means? if you go to the bathroom, and your waste comes out a different color than usual (i.e.: red. green, black, etc...) is there something wrong with your health?

Can be due to a disease process--if you have bleeding in the lower intestines it may be red (bloody); if you have bleeding in the upper intestines it may be black. (tarry black & sticky due to the digested blood) If you have hepatitis (liver disease) it can be chalky white. Intestinal Infections may turn it greenish-yellow. Food with dye can also render some impressive colors--eat an entire bag of black licorice and its....emerald green.

My doctor told me that sometimes the food coloring you eat can change the color of your stool. If you've been sick with a cold your stool can turn green. Also if its black it means that you have alot of iron in your diet which is OK if that's the reason for it. If its red like blood its always best to have a doctor check it out to make sure everything is OK. If in doubt go see the Dr.

Could be blood in the bowels,or either too much sugar or too much iron in your blood. Either way talk to your doctor and s/he can run some tests to determine the problem. If it is bleeding of the bowel you will need to have some tests done pronto. Don't worry too much, it may be nothing at all but it is better to be safe than sorry. There are a lot of people out there with the same problem, so there is no reason to be embarrassed about talking to he doctor. They would have heard many other patients with the same symptoms.
Good Luck

normally, our waste's color differ because of what we eat and sometimes it is brought about by some medicines that we take. if your waste becomes really black, maybe your taking some iron medicine. you don't really need to worry about it. the food that we eat affects the color of our waste but be reminded that if our waste is bloody, we must go to the doctor at once to know that reason why and to have soonest possible treatment

Eat blue birthday cake and it will come out blue, no kidding!
It is something you ate. Or your gall bladder/liverfrom green poop red is usually blood from hemorrhoids or a cancerous tumor in the rectum, (usually not) black is old blood from an ulcer or higher up bleeding in the colon or pepto bismol.

It would also depend on your diet.
The only color I would be concerned about would be red or really black tarry stools.
But your diet dictates the color of your BMs.

Changes in the color of your stool can be due to foods you have eaten, medication you have taken, or disease.
If it continues to happen you should consult your doctor.

Maybe you ate something weird. I saw a tv show where a guy ate rainbow colored frosting and then had orange and red poop.
