She has hot spots. There are different kinds of skin irritations, so the vet will take a skin sample of the affected area to let you know which kind of shot you need to be giving her, this can easily be treated by going to the vet, but until then you can give her benadryl to tone down the inflamation, and rub some hydrocortizone cream on for the itching.

1/4 teaspoon of Benedryl (only that brand!) is safe to give to a cat to help calm an allergic reaction so you can get her to the vets for an exam. They don't like the taste of it, and may salivate when you give it, but it's good to block a histamine reaction and can help give them some relief.

This needs to be looked at by a professional so don't wait for it to go away on it's own.

I agree get her to the vet sounds like a skin infection of some type.

her skin is inflamed. she obviously has a skin complaint. causes of this can be anything from flea allergies, other parasites, food allergies or environmental allergies
get her checked at the vets
