Yes you can have it pulled but the dentist will surely have to give you a script for the infection.Pulling an abscessed tooth is dangerous because it can mess with you`re heart and dentist don`t really like to pull it right away. They will usually give you a script for infection and pain and once the abscesse has subsided they will pull it.Only rarely will a dentist pull it on the spot!

yes pulling the tooth will cure the prob, but depending where the the tooth is you might want to think about your options, if it is the back of your mouth it should be ok., but if it is a front tooth you may want to think about , ask the dentist if the is a payment plan reg a root canal, good luck in any case....

They usually perform root canals to save the tooth...but if you don't care about that, then have it pulled. Extracting the tooth will solve the problem.

Good luck.

It depends on your age. If you are still young, it is advisable to save the tooth and in that case if necessary you may undergo a root canal treatment!

Yes you can have it pulled instead, your Dentist will try and talk you out of it, but there job is saving teeth. You may need to take some med to get rid of the infection first. Call your Dentist now, because bad teeth can and does lead to other health problems.

It will. However, you may want to keep in mind your age. As you get older, your teeth will drift to close the gap left by the missing tooth, if you just have it pulled and don't have a bridge put it.
