Your vodka will keep well with the lid on for ever really, as there is nothing in it that can go off. If you leave the lid off it will evaporate eventually because of the alcohol. I always keep mine in the freezer anyway so it's nice and cold (It won't freeze, again because of the alcohol)

I agree with Word's answer. Place your Vodka in the freezer, not only does it keep it cold you can also flavor your vodka by taking the rind of a lemon or lime and putting it in the bottle and placing it in the freezer. 24 hours later you have either a lemon or lime tasting vodka.

You can leave it anywhere for a long time, but in a dark place is best like a closet. You can also leave it in the freezer. It will not freeze but it will turn a little bit thicker and is awesome for drinks that way. Next time you have a party, place the bottle in an empty 1/2 gallon milk carton and fill with water. Let it freeze and tear away the paper carton, the bottle will be enclosed in a block of ice and will stay cold for hours.

No problem, just cap it and put it back on the shelf. I keep a 1/2 gallon of Smirnoff triple distilled in my freezer at all times but i don't think it keeps the liquor any fresher, just colder! Enjoy!!!

Leaving it out won't hurt it. If you want to be absolutely sure, though, stick it in the freezer. At the very least, your drinks will be colder next time you use it!

Just leave the cap on, and keep it away from extreme heat.

Alcohol does not go bad. You can store it under the cupboard if you want to or store it in the refrigerater if you want.
