I try to. The more we think on these Heavenly things, the more we become like Jesus.

Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Php 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Php 4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Read and read the bible until you can understand it. The answer is on verse 9

Yes, and God gave us so much more insight into this. Its not just that we arent to do awful things of the world, but we arent to view them either. Lets just say no going to the movies anymore, or little tv either. When religions made these rules eyars ago, they werent man made for legalistic purposes God wants us to think on pure and lovely things and be doing pure and lovely things. LIttle on tv or the movies has any moral, redeeming value, or ethical value, and surely not about Godly things. EVen the actor Alec Baldwin that is a Hollywood star has recently become Christian and recently stated this whol thing on Rod Parlsey show on christian tv He wants to change things, so lets pray for Him.
BUt, we just dont realize when we wont keep our mind just on the things of God, how much evil is allowed to come into our minds, our homes and our lives. NO, we dont fear it. Christians dont fear, we have a spirit of HOPE, not fear. BUt, at the same time God tells us to guard our minds. What joy to do just that, and the minute you just take all the evil out, you can truly feel relaxation and rest in the Lord beginning, like you never felt it before. ENjoy your day today, out observing the things God has made for us, and to enjoy true fellowship and worship, giving your ALL to God, just as Jesus did for us upon that cross. How can we give Him less????

It seems hard to do at times, but what a joy when I do.That liar and thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy. And then the Comforter comes and provides us with the truth, and I know that God is going to see me through it all.
