Yes I do feel that marriages are fixed in heaven. When, where & whom you will get as your life partner is pre-destined.Not only this, even you yourself are aware of this unique relationship in your sub-conscious mind. thereafter what happens is a miracle.

I do believe that our matches are already fixed before our births. But sometimes we can't get a merry with the person whom God has chosen for us,cause we all live in the world where there are many different traditions, believes and gods.I was born in to Ukraine and growing up there and there I know that you can choose someone(I mean the person, whom God has chosen for you),but sometimes we are still wrong. Here in India sometimes yours parents has chosen your future parts,so it's gonna be not that person, whom God has chosen for you.But sometimes our parents has chosen a person, whom God has chosen for us.But anyway it's pass some time and we meet the person, whom God has chosen for us and when it's all happened we understand it.

Marriage is simply a partnership that two people maintain; just like between business partners or two police officers. You support one another through the dark times; not just enjoy the good times. It means that you care enough about another person to be there when it counts; not just have one foot in the back door, ready to bail at the slightest hint of difficulty. No, marriages aren't "fixed in heaven." They aren't rocket science. Any two mature, sane people can make a marriage work. It just takes some love, some compromise and a little give-a-$hit.

If you believe that your spouse is predetermined, no problem there at all. No questions on who you marry and how you marry. After all God has fixed it. So you might well elope with your best friend's wife and marry her, may be against her wishes too. After all that is what God wants. Peace be in Heaven, man. Marriages are made in heaven means that a marriage is divine. Yours is one of the most distorted explanations of the adage.

No not at all.It is you who is deciding with whom you have to spend the rest of your life so the question of getting your match fixed in heaven doesn't come at all.

It depends on religion honey,
Islam says that every woman and a man got married, before they come to earth,so when someone breaks off a wedding or an engagement,we say,oh yea! he or she is not the person that God chose for her r him, they are not for each other.
But about other religions,i don't know really what christianity, hindu, and what other religions say ...

i do believe everything happens for a reason and that God does have a plan for us before we are born. He puts us in situations able to meet that special person. But, I don't believe there's just one person for everyone, life would be lonely if we never met that person! I'm Catholic, so that's just my belief of how things work. I understand many others don't believe that and that's ok.

Interesting question, I have wondered about that. With my husband and I, it does seem that there was something else out there 'at work', considering how we met, and we have known we were totally meant to be together, married these last almost 18 years.

No, it could also be fixed in the hell. If marriages were fixed only in heavens, we would not have all those failed marriages and everyone would be living in bliss !!!
