I'm not.
In fact, I'm turning off the computer now to go get ready to go.
Congratulations! You're the last question I will be answering for this "session"

God bless.
(Don't be late for Church.)

I'll be out the door in about 15 minutes too....(4 hours later than you though)...I'm going because I love being in church, praising the Lord and learning what God has for me this week.

Blessings.

To be quite honest about this, I have not been in some time for various personal reasons and haven't found a church that is for me really. I have been a Christian since I was 17 yrs old (i'm 53) and have a strong faith in God and the power of prayer. I have recently met the love of my life and this is very important to us to both find a church we will like together. I definetly plan to start going back again with her and attend regularly.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is completely run by lay members and everyone has a job. If you are not there everyone suffers, the same as if you don't show up for work. The lord holds the purse strings and He witholds the wages. "I the Lord am bound when you do what I say, but when you do not what I say, ye have no promise".

My husband is totally disabled w/a bad back ,Parkinson's Disease,7 stints in his heart, and a cancer survivor so we won't be able to attend church in a building today but we have :church: every day with just the 2 of us and Jesus. It would be nice if some of our brothers and sisters in the Lord would come and join us since we can't join them don't you think? I guess we're who are called shut ins.

I pray for those people with bad answers. I hope the LORD will touch their hearts and make them see HE IS the answer!!
I work on Sundays, (not all day) I make no excuses, I could go to church in the morning, and I pray the LORD will give me the strength to get up and just DO IT. I do read my Bible every day, and have some study books. Kidd, pray for your sister.

I go to church not because it is a real duty(which it is) but because it is a great joy and nourishment of my soul. Imeet Jesus there. I go to church every day and would enjoy skipping church as much as i would enjoy not eating for a week.

Dear Kidd,

I'll be leaving for Fellowship Hour, Communion and church in 1 hour. Thanks for asking.

I got online to quickly check my emails to see exactly when my son will be returning from an undisclosed location and my youngest brother returning from Iraq. People at church having been praying for them so I want to give them the latest news.

I missed church only 1 Sunday so far this year and that was because I couldn't get up the driveway during a snowstorm.

How about you?

For His glory,
JOYfilled

There is NO commandment that you have to go to a physical church. It is good to gather together, share lessons, sing praises, and enjoy his presence.

Yet Jesus said, "Where two are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

So if you want to go outside and spend time with the kids on Sunday. That's fine. Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
