I know everybody has their own opinion. and I know that I shouldn't be worrying about what guys prefer. It's just I can't help but notice that all the guys go for my blonde friends with straight long hair.

I honestly much prefer brunettes. Blondes obviously don't have souls. Lol or they hide them well.

The media is very powerful when it comes to influencing people.
Blonds have been portrayed for the most part by the media as angelic, innocent, and pure (look at how many angels are shown with blond hair), while at the same time being capable of being sexually uninhibited wildcats providing they are with the right man.
All that is nonsense of course, but over time it has been built up to be the truth so that men who are caught up in the fantasy tend to pursue the stereotype you are talking about. They do it to make themselves feel better about their own masculinity. I'm sure you've heard of trophy wives?
But take heart. Men may pursue blondes more than brunettes, but the marry the brunette because they want what they have been conditioned by the media to see as brains with beauty in the brunette for the mother of their children.
Notice I didn't say that was true. It's the media that has invented and reinforced those stereotypes.

why is it always blonde vs brunette? I've always heard that blondes are the innocent, angelic ones. Brunettes are the girls next door, and redheads are the sex goddesses.
Im a redhead, but it seems like guys do prefer blondes. I've gotten a million compliments on my hair color, but it seems like nobody would actually want it..I dont know..if I was a guy, I'd like redheads.

I'm a natural blonde myself and my observation is that guys usually think blondes, since we know that they are all of course utterly stupid, are an easy prey.
A blonde is good for a Friday night fling, but for the Monday-Morning-Mum of their kids, they choose a brunette.

Really though, while fair hair may attract the attention, it comes down to personality and compatibility to maintain a guy's interest, whatever one's hair color.

Ya we guys like blondes but you should chage ur hair colour according to your skin tone. Only if you are fair enough then only golden colour would suit you.
Be natural and be thankful to mom, dad and god for giving you so good appearance and hair.
