Yes, Randy "Duke" Cunningham convicted, Tom Delay is on his way to being convicted, Newt Gingrich $300,000 fine, Jim Trafficant convicted, Oliver North convicted (overturned on technicality), "Scooter" Libby convicted (commuted but fine stands, lost law license) just to name a few. While we are far from perfect, we tend to wash our dirty laundry in public so all can see.

Yes, we have a constitution and we are a county of laws. No one is above the law, no one. We have a system for our political criminals, which right now is the subject of many investigations. Our constitution and judiciary branch are in extreme danger, not from terrorists but from Americans who seemingly have no respect for our democracy.

Maybe not. American ought to learn a lesson or two from China where corruption is not tolerated at any level, and even high profile politicians including communist party members are not spared!
