I am going to go for a first date soon sometime during the afternoon. I want to do something that will make it fun and less awkward where inhibitions are easier to drop or at least where awkward silences can be filled by an activity so that it doesnt feel so much like an interview!!

Thanks :)

Did you ask that person to go on a date or did that person ask you? You should let them decide if they asked you.

Be honest if you are nervous. Tell that person you are nervous. Ask them about their hobbies, goals in life, their family. Tell them things that you admire whether it be in someone or something.

There will be times of silence, and that is ok too. Relax and have fun. If you two hit it off, you will have no problem. Let the time go naturally. If you are always worried about the silence periods, then you will not enjoy the time you are spending.

properly, in accordance to three polls I even have study, the suited first date place to stay away from the awkward silence is a coffee save that has open mic night or karaoke. That way, in case you have not something to declare, there is a few thing there for entertainment. verify to offer different issues occurring around you, and don't in straightforward terms do the movie and dinner element. Be imaginitive, she'll like it!!

If you have some coffee drinking the coffee verry slowly gives you time to think on how to break the silence without it getting awkward.

Bowling. You might have to pretend to be a beginner though if your partner turns out to be terrible at it!
