No. They mother may be the whore now and in ther past life, this is how she vents it out. The mother has mental issues or she would not be name calling anyone. I would take this to court if she does not stop this name calling. May be Slander.
The mother may be very Jealous of the daughter.

why is she being called a whore, what did she do and what does her mom think she did, parents aren't always right but they do have more experience in life, mom could be a biblehead and called her that because her skirt was above her knee

is this a serious question? C'mon.. just because someone calls you something doesn't mean you are!!! I think the issue is that her own mother is calling her something so vile and horrid! I think you question should be "Why would her mother call her a whore?". Does your girlfriend deserve that abuse? I don't think anyone deserves to be called that!

No of course it doesnt if someone calls you something it doesntmean its true ! as a mother she should no better she is a role model and is not doing a good job ! maybe she was angry maybe even jealous but that is not excuse this was a terrible thing to say and does NOT mean its true coz her mum said so if her mum said she lived on mars for three years with bob marley does that mean its true coz she said it NO

It means her mums a rude and should learn some self control and respect... You dont say that to your daughter even if you do think its true, I doubt it is but even if this girl has made some bad choices in her life i cant say im surprised if someone like that has raised her.

not necessarily. it could mean the Mom is uninformed and judgmental...it really depends on how the Mom was raised. Maybe she wasn't allowed to date, or call a boy, or talk to a boy. who knows. what vibe do you get from the GF? do you feel she is trustworthy?
