"Les canadiens sont les meilleurs" should be enough. You do not need to put "gars" or "mecs" because the both the plural noun "canadiens" and the adjective "meilleurs" already indicate that you are talking about a male group.

properly for being French and listening lots the information and gazing documentaries right that's what i be responsive to. Canadian talk a purer French language than we French human beings do. I advise that for the duration of France we use a super sort of English words : "parking, mail, unsolicited mail..." And Canadian have a bent to reject using English words of their language. So for "mail" they are going to use "courriel" and for "unsolicited mail" they are going to say "pourriel" ( pourri which capacity rotted ). so as that they create new words that even oui French have problems to appreciate by fact they are no longer use everywhere. So each and every from time to time on the information superhighway while a sparkling US/uk action picture comes out and that i acquire a French version, I in many situations have the Canadian one that is slightly complicated to appreciate.

We don't often use guy or girl after an adjective because "canadiens" is already masculine (it would be "canadiennes" if you talk about girls)

You can say :
"Les mecs Canadiens sont les meilleurs !" (more familiar)
or :
"Les Canadiens sont les meilleurs !"
