I feel like I'm going to break apart... Just found out that my lover is dying from lungs cancer now. I can't lose him just like that.
He promised that he would marry me when I'm older... Any advice for me? I KNOW I'm just a teen, but I'm mature enough and I know that I truly love him.

I couldn't be there for him, both of us are in different states... And our relationship is a secret. My mum never lets me have a boyfriend of different race...

Oh I feel for you 100%.
When I was 19 my boyfriend had Leukemia and I was devastated.
Just stick by him and support him.
You will become a better person for it.
If things don't work out,I am sure God will bless you like he did with me.
I have a lovely husband and 2 beautiful kids.
I am happy with my life now then I have ever been.
I looked at it as God chose ME to be the person to support a human being.
YOU MUST BE SPECIAL!!! cause I feel that way.

God Bless and may you have strength.
I will pray for him xoxoxox

So sorry to hear this my prayers are with you, dont look at this as the end make sure you both do everything you had planned make each day memorable and special,I know your only 17 but you can still marry and have what time there is as husband and wife,I know how devastated you must feel but you still have time together be strong be there for him no matter how upset you feel, you both have time to accept this and the outcome, live life to the full before he gets to ill, write down how you truly feel about him and ask him to do the same you can keep them in a special box along with other bits and pieces that you can treasure forever, its not easy when you find out someone you love has cancer find all you can about it what his chances are then once you know for sure live life a day at a time, once again my heart goe's out to you both may God and the Angels give you strength to get through this God bless you both...........

Support him in any way that you can. Be strong for yourself and him. Make sure that the time he has left is filled with good memories.

Grieve him when he's gone, keep him in your memories. There will always be a spot in your heart for him. And when the time comes you will find new love. I know to think about that is hard but remember you won't forget him, and if he truly loves you he would want you to be happy.

I'm sorry for you both. Try to keep some hope, maybe things will turn around. And it is very normal to feel devastated right now. Don't keep those feelings inside, find some one you can talk to and get support from. You will need it. Again I'm very sorry.

Hi!

On what evidence do you base your awareness that he is dying? Has he told you or has a doctor broken the news to you together?

The next step could be to go and discuss the prognosis with the medical professionals as a twosome and decide together how you are going to deal with this. There will be a whole cocktail of emotions going on for both of you, it's what you weave out of them now that is important.

Who else is there to support you? Who else supports him? The network of support that surrounds you now will determine how painful the next stages of your lives will be. If you try to deal with this in isolation, the pain will be worse and there is a risk you will become bitter and disillusioned.

Get the facts and deal with them within your support framework.

Good wishes.

hey, it doesn't sound stupid at all!
well..you should be with him at all time, as long as you can, call him all the time.
i know that he truly loves you too, so even though it's very hard, try not to look sad in front of him, it'll make him feel more sad than you
pray for him, even though our believes are different but we all are believer, so i promise i'll pray for you and your lover
be strong when you're going through this
in every problem, god gives us the solution
maybe this is a test from god and he wants you to be strong
well..good luck, i hope i can help more..
remember, stay strong, pray, and be with him while you can :)

I don't know what to say to you right now. I won't know how to handle it from your point of view either.

I'm so sorry to hear about that.

Its not stupid, loving a person is never stupid. I guess you just show him your love now, as much as you could, and be by his side to support him every single day he's alive. At least he'll leave knowing that you'll always love him. And also assure him that you're gonna be alright and not to worry about you.

It's going to be tough for you after that. I wish I could tell you how to handle it but I don't know myself.

I wish you all the best

I'm sorry to hear that. Everything happens for a reason and as much as the things that happen hurts us, we have to learn to accept them. Well, be strong and don't lose hope. It doesn't mean that his life will end. He might live or some miracle may happen. Pray for him and be there for him right now- he needs all the love and support you can give.

Thats a terrible thing to have happen especially at your age. So its been confirmed by doctors that his condition is now terminal? I wouldnt lose any hope just yet if hes still recieving treatment, just be there for him.

You should not keep your grief to yourself you need to talk to someone about your pain, like your parents, friends, family, and if you have any personal beliefs try to seek some comfort there.

I hope that everything turns out ok for you.

Oh where oh where can my baby be? The lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven so i got to be good So i can see my baby when i leave this world

We were out on a date in my daddy's car We hadn't driven very far There in the road straight ahead A car was stalled the engine was dead I couldn't stop so i swerved to the right
I'll never forget the sound that night The screaming tires, the busting glass The painful scream that i heard last

Oh where oh where can my baby be? The lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven so i got to be good So i can see my baby when i leave this world

When i woke up the rain was pouring down There were people standing all around Something warm flowing through my eyes But somehow i found my baby that night I lifted her head she looked at me and said Hold me darling just a little while I held her close i kissed her our last kiss I found the love that i knew i had missed Well now she's gone even though i hold her tight I lost my love, my life, that night

Oh where oh where can my baby be? The lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven so i got to be good So i can see my baby when i leave this world

I will keep good thoughts for the both of you!
