I alternate days between Tai Chi and Karate classes. Tai Chi is today, Karate is tomorrow. During the academic year, I take university-level French class each semester.

Oh yes, the Montreal International Tango Festival was last week. So I had plenty of dancing.

I am not a surfer and I stay away from the beach. The beach is so boring.

Nothing much. I'm on Yahoo answers because I'm expecting a translation job to come in any minute and it helps to pass the time. I have to write an appeal for a rejected asylum seeker and an unemployed friend who is 13 years my junior (50) is coming round so that I can write job applications for her.
I've watered the tomatoes, but I haven't hoovered. The dishwasher has taken care of the spontaneous dinner party last night.
Life's so boring when you're over 60! It's hot here and I've already been out to buy beer - one in the deep freeze and the others in the fridge.
Read my mail - UN.org. Gives me updates on situation round the world.
I sent a letter to Guardian Weekly. 'Disgusted, Tonbridge Wells.'

The county fair is calling "come play with me." I will load all here up in the van, load up the electric wheel chairs so the "boys" can play racing through the crowds, and I will, I am sure, shake my head a lot. I will also eat the most unhealthy food made on Earth. I will probably be sick tonight, but that is a day at the fair...If I weren't sick to start with, I would NOT be going to the fair. Enjoy the surf, babe...and don't get all gritty...nothing worse for the maid than to have to deal with sand all over the house.

My wife is the kitchen baking some cherry pies and cakes. I doubt if I'll get more than a smell. I'm cutting the top 4ft of a hedge, rather slow work as its 37c out there. Just keep coming indoors for the air con and play on computer, then out to do some more. Later we will go in the pool and then sit out having a drink. Haven't planned anything for evening meal yet, but went out last night so I expect it will be eating in tonight. Oh, what does rain look like (sorry)

Just arrived back from a three day rock festival, now I have to clear out my bathroom and airing cupboard as I have plumbers coming in the morning. Not looking forward to that at all but it has to be done. Got in stocks of tea bags and milk and put a bucket in the shed (say no more). They will be here for a week. Not had dinner yet so that is next on the agenda. I am starving!!!

Sounds like fun Dolly. The beach is my favorite place. My hubby left yesterday on a business trip for a month. Then he gets to come home for 4 days. Then go back unless business is taking care of. His company is striking 3000 miles away so Mom has to do dads chores now to. He has never been away for more then a week and LOL my 14 year old is going to teach me how to use the Lawn Tractor today so he and I can mow. Pretty funny when your kids have to show you how to do things.

I've been listening to music while having a long overdue clear out of some cupboards. Quite a lot of 'why on earth did I hang on to that', and the 'bin it' and 'recycle it' piles aren't very big, but I haven't reached the 'ruthless' stage yet - just the 'ooh and aah', which really means 'ought to but don't want to'. Terrible being a hoarder!
Right, that's tea break over, now back to it!

You know, I haven't weeded out my vegetable garden in yonks, so I expect I should get on to doing that. (I HATE weeding!)

Come to think of it, I did tell myself that I needed to see to the front flower garden as well. I guess I should do that soon, as my next door neighbour is having a yard sale and his "customers" will be all over the place any time now.

And the grass is in dire need of cutting...at least it is back to being mostly green right now from all the rain we had last week. Before that fell I had begun to think that I was growing brown straw.

Your day sounds like fun.

My day: Check my spot at the community garden, edit a story I'm working, go on the internet to do some history research on Old Forge, NY and the Adirondacks and later tonight, watch TV. I'll also have sandwiches and coffee at some point.
