Buy a new one ,they are easy to fit.. Perhaps get a black one, but they come in every colour under the sun, also wood grain.

I had the same problem and I used bleach neat. It seemed to take the shiny layer off and made it look even worse. I had to buy a new one and I'd advise you to do the same. Asda and Woolworths both do a cheap white seat at around £5

if it was dirty or coloured to start with u have no chance of getting it whiter. Go out and replace it, I hate sitting on a dirty loo seat, so wont come and visit yr loo

Is it worth the effort for how much a new loo seat costs?

Is a looseat a toilet seat? If it is, try bleach.

Try literally painting on neat bleach and leaving overnight. If that doesn't work, its a new seat!!

if i were you i would buy a new one if its so yellow. and they are not too expensive ( just buying the seat). go to a home improvement store and they should sell them.

good luck-hope this helps!

Rub very hard with BRASSO or T-CUT, it generally works wonders.
