Will the financiers and supporters of Israel's numerous War Crimes including widespread Crimes Against Humanity, Crimes on the High Seas (USS Liberty and numerous acts of Piracy) and failure to respect Internal Aid Organisations (including firing on UN personnel, Red Cross and Medicine sans Frontiers)?

Don't the victims, Christians, Arabs, atheists and Hindus alike deserve some justice?
What excuse could there be for not bringing Israel to answer for its crimes?

CJ- how about the USS Liberty accident when Israelis machine gunned the life-rafts of a US ship?

We British have always mistrusted the IDF and Mossad. We know the IDF sold Exocet missiles to Argentina when we engaged in Falklands.
Friends like these hey?

Hmmm... are you insinuating that six investigations conducted both by the Israeli and American governments into the Liberty incident over the past 40 years are lying? I mean, after all, did not those alleged allegations made allegedly by those crewmen be subject to those investigations?

And also, are you insinuating that if people are in a war zone where there is a fire-fight going on that it is impossible to be hit if you are a member of the UN or the Red Cross? You cannot hold people responsible for purposely targeting someone if you have no proof that they purposely targeted them or even HIT THEM (as was the claim in Lebanon involving a Red Cross ambulance).

the only way this would ensue would be if Israel have been defeated and occupied. it somewhat is maximum not likely to ensue, on the grounds that an exceptionally super community in the U.S. helps something Israel does, suited or incorrect. nonetheless, Obama ought to attempt to help peace projects and supply financial tips that would help the folk of Gaza rebuild infrastructure and supply the forms of counseling that traumatized little ones (and adults) prefer. it is straightforward to a minimum of wish. Even the leaders of Hamas could be somewhat greater keen to cooperate with Obama than they ever have been with Bush.

It's difficult not to perceive your question as anti-semetic, maybe your hostility towards Israel is based upon a credible cause, maybe not.
If you do as you suggest, a little research, I think you will find that every action taken by Israel has been a response to an action against them. Regarding the USS Liberty, you've implied several things that are a little bit off base. First, Israel had been assured that no US ships were in the area. The Liberty was just outside Egyptian waters even though it had been ordered to stand off 100K, The Liberty denied receiving this order. Recordings released by the freedom of information act of voice communications of Israeli pilots indicate they thought they were attacking an Egyptian ship. The odnance used suggests that the Liberty was a target of opportunity as Napalm and machine guns are not effective weapons against a ship, if it was a premeditated attack I would think they would have been armed to do the job. When the torpedo boats arrived the Liberty fired on them first, one gun was attributed to a cook off of ammunition in the magazine the other deliberate. The life boats were fired on but they were unmanned even though your question suggests otherwise. The majority of causulties were from the torpedo strike not helpless men in life boats. Immediately after recognizing the Liberty as a US ship the attack was halted and assitance offered which was refused by the Liberty.
If you are truly ex British Services then I would think that you would have a better understanding of friendly fire incidents, regrettable as they may be, they happen.
Interesting mail regarding this question, Israel should not defend itself because of ignorance. A unique perspective.
Only 3 thumbs down? I'm disappointed, should have a lot more than that because I've deviated from dogma and and biased rhetoric

As long as AIPAC always influence US and international politics, justice will never be served.

Its just that the pro Israel lobby is too powerful. I find it odd that a foriegn lobby has so much power in a country like the USA.

Anyway, its ultimately up to the American people to decide. Only Americans can control their country's destiny.

Do not forget why 9/11 happened.
