ok, i just know that we can vote ourself answer as best answers (looking at others questions and answer).
i sincerely swear that i know my answer is the best to my true knowledge that is why i choose it just 9 or 10 minutes ago. After choosing, i didn't see any points added (i means the 10 points, not the 1 point).
1. Why ? and
2. Why people don't pick best asnwer ? I am sick on questioning the same question again, again and again.
3. I go to undecided questions and trying to pick. I saw some asker even say they will give 10 points for best answer, but why they didn't keep their promise ? I saw there is answer to the question. Is there that tough to just choose one ?

Voting for a best answer doesn't mean that it will eventually be chosen as the final best answer.. Other people will vote too.
And for those that don't keep their promise its because they desperately want answers and as soon as they get them they don't care anymore.

you have to wait till the question is finally solved and when all of the votes are cast if your answer has the most votes then you will get your 10 points, or if the asker elects your answer to be the best. you will not see results till the question completely solved. every time you get a thumbs up you will receive a point immediately however. however you should let other voters see your answer through and the asker

So all because people arent seleceting a best answer, you are reposting something over and over? This forum is to get opinions, not to get people to decide what you do ina situation. Its up to you, not them. That is just dumb.
And you dont get points for voting on answers, only for A) giving an answer that is chosen best by asker / people or B)picking a best answer to a question youve asked.

I'm not sure about where your points went but it could be that yahoo has an IP program that keeps track of the times you come to this site for example. If thats the case they know you are voting for yourself + you would get no credit. I can't vote for myself, you must login another I.D. ?
Well its kind of nice that we dont get to vote for ourselves, it makes it more fair. Don't forget about some people who think they know everything, now thats a person you wouldn't want to vote for themself lol
No best answer ? sometimes everyone doesn't get a chance to see all the answers + vote their opinion. While others dont want to, others don't know. theres lots of reasons. Opinion can change everything. Opinions are what our votes are + opinions aren't always necessarily right. : )
But our opinions are what we think are right until we change it lol.

Wow. Your grammar is really bad.
And you can't vote for yourself for "best answer." It's up to the voters and the asker. You don't get to just give yourself 10 points. You have to have the best answer according to other people.
