It may seem like all Americans are rich but no they are not, in the whole of the world not just the united states you will find that if you only go to certain parts of almost any country, you don't view or read any media, you get the idea that ever body is rich.

I don't think it's hard to find poor people there, just because they don't look poor doesn't mean they are rich, sometimes we can't even tell when a person is rich because, he/she doesn't look rich!

You know something, some rich people don't look as good as poor people.

Not all Americans are rich. Not all Frenchmen are Don Juan's. Not all Italians are gangsters. There are rich and poor in every country. It is not hard to find the poor in any country. Check the food banks, the church sponsored soup kitchens, the Medicaid, welfare, unemployment and other places to help those in financial and physical difficulties.

I'm American and live way below the poverty line. I was given an old, second hand laptop from an agency, which I appreciate very much. I know locations for food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens of specific cities in New York State, though I do have a place to live.

I think that people of other nations tend to believe that America is like TV.... well its not.

I live in Tennessee. There are people here who actually live in shacks with no running water and no electricity.

Most Americans are kinda poor. We have to have two income households just to make ends meet.

If you mean that I can eat everyday and go to a doctor when I'm ill, and, travel where I want: worship at my own church, then I'm rich.
My wife don't have to cover her head or face, she doesn't have to walk behind me. We have only one family living in our house.
We own an automobile and travel without a pass. I don't have to carry a gun for protection everyday.

I guess you could say that I'm rich.
