any of you notice a period within the month where you are hornier than other days? the month starting the first day of your period. Because I'm starting to think it's a pattern and i'm not sure if other women have felt or noticed the same. I's say about two weeks after period is when it happens to me but I still have to pay attention. Any medical reasons? do my hormones just go crazy? have any of you noticed a pattern like this? I know it's normal to "get in the mood" but i'm talking a pattern here like another cycle.

Yep, thats when your ovulating. Thats your body trying to talk you into gettingyour egg fertilized.
Tee hee, its so sneaky isn't it! I'm like "Damn you, biological clock, you are trying to talk me into bed to reproduce...and damn it, its working!"

It would simply be normal for women to feel a greater need for intercourse during the time interval when they may become pregnant, which typically goes from the 19th to the 11th day BEFORE your next menstruation (which will happen only if you don't become pregnant in that interval).
Remember, Nature wants you to get pregnant and your hormones are trying to "talk you into it".
Hypothetically, in the distant past, women who did not react this way to the hormonal cycle had a lesser chance to become pregnant and a lesser chance to pass on the behavior to their daughters (because they would have fewer of them).
This is a prime example of "natural selection" at work. So, yes, what you feel; is perfectly normal and the time interval you describe matches the "theoretical" interval given above.

Yes, the hormones are elevated at this time and yes, I have issues with this but what I did to help with the mood issue is to take B Complex but you can take B6 (which is very good for helping PMS symptoms) as a bottle by itself or as part of B Complex. You can find them in the bigger drugstores like Wal-Mart or even The Vitamin Shoppe (if there is no store in your area you can order online). If the problem is quite severe I would recommend checking with your dr as well for additional ideas.

That is when you are ovulating so it's natural that those would be the days you are horniest. (of course, that's also when you have a high likely hood of getting pregnant,so use protection!)
