If a car in front of you slams there brakes what do I do if im going 50mph and they quick stop.

depress clutch, slam on brakes if you have time go down a gear and let off the clutch (not too fast)and let the engine help slow u down a little

Brake hard. Do not touch the clutch until the car has almost stopped. The car will over-run the engine, the engine has some braking effect even in top gear. Never brake at highway speed with the clutch in, or in neutral. Doing so is very bad practice.

Slam the brakes on, and drop the clutch as well to prevent stalling.

The best thing to do in this unfortunate situation is to close your eyes, yell "oh sh-t, I love you mom", and try to find a way to position your head in a manner that you're able to kiss your azzz goodby!
