I'm a mac user, and I love my mac's. The new macbooks can run both windows and osx natively, so if there's some software that you just have to run in windows you can. Macbooks seem to be more expensive than a comparable PC, but it's a small price to pay to not have to deal with windows. Build quality is in general better on the macs, and I love not having to lug around a large power brick. The trackpad on the mac's are more easier to use, just use two fingers to scroll instead of having to hit a certain region of the trackpad. Macs usually have a slimmer and sleeker shape as well. Plus, you can't go wrong with the lit-up apple icon on the outside!

In the end it all comes down to your personal preference. I was a longtime windows user and I hated my first encounters with a mac because it was infuriating trying to figure out to get it to do what I wanted to. I just had to dumb down my thinking a bit and get used to the apple way. Plus I like not having to worry about spyware and other nastys out there on the web. It's been about a year since I've switched over, and I don't regret it in the least bit.

I think they are smarter and more stable. Apples can do everythiing, include running Widows.

PC's running Windows are cheaper, and simply run standard Windows. If that's all you need, fine.

I have 2 desktops and 2 laptop pc's, and a Mac desktop. I use the laptops the most just because of convenience, wish the Mac was a laptop!

Everything you do on a Mac, you can do on a pc, and vice versa.

Here's my two cents worth. Your mileage may vary.

MAC vs IBM Compatible

Hardware these days is pretty much the same so it's not the horse race it once was, nor the expense. Push for arguments sake.

Software is typically 150% more expensive for a comparable title for a MAC.

Windows titles:
4Billion and growing daily

MAC software titles:
100,000 or so, grows from time to time.

Linux software titles:
250,000 or so growing strong.

So if you really love the way the MAC works for you, go with a MAC.

Now on the lighter side:
I once read a billboard that indicated:
"I think, therefore iMac"
To which I thought:
"I want my computer to think, therefore IBM."

i admire HP! Apple may well be very difficult at time, oftentimes through fact it does not have a great click key. HP for my area is uncomplicated to clean up, restore issues, acquire issues etc. I even have additionally heard a lot of human beings like apple after making use of it as quickly as, yet my mom has one and that i in my view do not see the way it rather is from now on suitable, that's good for going surfing and looking out up issues yet HP has Microsoft be conscious, and different issues.
