Just take a Northern Line train ("via City" - NOT West End) and it should take all of twelve minutes ! ! !

The ONLY direct train link between Euston and Waterloo is by the Tube. A Northern line train takes about twelve to fifteen minutes to make the journey.

There is NO direct overground train link between the two stations...so checking on the National Rail site (which doesn't include the Tube) is a waste of time because that will ONLY tell you the best possible overground route....which is pointless because it would take about five times as long.

Oh don't worry, London is a wonderful place and the train net working system and accessibility is rather fine and efficient. There is is nothing to worry or be nervous about: at least, it is more advance and safer compared to some third world countries. After the London train boomings that occurred some years ago, the security in train stations is also very thorougher and tight at times. Yes, there is a train station at Kings Cross and the journey should not take that long, though its' been a long time ago and a can't remember as to how long it will take. Besides there are also bus services there. Basically in London, nearly every train station is an Interchange and reaching to your destination means having to change train several times. This can rather be time consuming and troublesome. London is a beautiful and exotic to a historical background. The attractions are the big band, the gigantic Farris wheel, the grand-witch, the Barking ham palace, car racing, the swan lake to many more. When you are there imagine Mr. Bean! The hotels there are rather cozy but the food and accommodation, shopping and transportation is rather costly. If you are alone, my advice to you is that you don't travel to far away from your hotel just in case you can't find your way back; especially if its your first experience. Be aware of strange people as they could be robbers or thieves. DO NOT LEAVE your valuables unattended as they could steal them. Don't worry, even though you are traveling alone; you could pray to god for a safe and pleasant journey or listen to your favorite music. Yours truly, Best reguards, Jeff.

There are NO direct trains between these two stations. The closst you can do is.
Euston, walk to Kings Cross Thameslink travel to London Bridge, change to Waterloo East Service (Charing Cross Train) then cross pedestrian foot bridge into Waterloo Main.
Time approx 1 hour for safety.
Better to take the Tube, Euston direct onto Northern Line (black) into Waterloo, 7 stops, time 25 minutes approx, dependant on luggage, speed, amount of passengers and buying ticket if required.

There is only the underground northern line and takes about 10 min. or perhaps you may like to take the 168 or 68 bus from the bus station outside Euston

Under 10 minutes.

Get the right branch of the Northern line though.

Not long. About 10 minutes if that.

That would depend on whether there is signal failure / person under a train / staff shortage / security alert..... shall I go on.....

Maybe 10 or 15 minutes

Maybe an hour or two.....

Hope this helps.

About an hour BUT you might have to change at Vauxhall.
