well it is different i am sure for different people...
for me, i just decided that once i found my boyfreind, and i knew i loved him and wanted to be with him, that i needed to be near him....so i packed what i could, grabbed my kids, and have been with him every since...that was 5 yrs ago now. and i am glad i made the move.

Yes it could but the odds are not too good and also if it is not a life time long distance relationship it can work. But something usually goes wrong between the time and distance someone always brakes the chain.

I'd have to say that good communication is the key to make any relationship work. This can be from daily phone calls or the unexpected visit. Or even the occasional Instant Message. With the cost of long distance calls being so cheap or even bundled with the phone plan, it makes it easy to contact people.

Depends on many factors, how old you guys are, how mature you guys are, how serious you guys are.

It's simple, long distance relationships aren't for everyone because some people are needier then others. But if your both comfortable and devoted then sure of course it would. Just most people tend to get bored or be on the needy side.

yes, I dated a gal for 4 years and we only got to see each other about 3 times every 6 months. We talked on the phone a lot, watched tv movies together on the weekends and communicated well enough.

I believe that it can if you both want it to. Its all a matter of if it was ment to be or not. I am also in long distance relationship. :(
