i haven't had my period yet? unless this is it? i don't think it's disharge but it's the best way i can describe it. wat is it? i'm not sexually active or anything?

wow i had the same thing. Mine was like discharge that was almost black it lasted 6 days and then this month i got my second which was blood. alot of it so yeah congrats your a woman. See i didnt htink i got mine either when this happened to me...but it turned out it was. soo good luck.

It is very likely that that your period is about to start. Don't stress! If you are not sexually active than it is not likely to be a disease or cancer. It is most likely spotting. The black/brown colour is most likely dried blood. Spotting is not an actual bleed but can mean that you are about to start your period. It is common to have spotting before your period starts. If your period doesn't start in the next few days though you will need to see a doctor to be on the safe side
Talk to your doctor, a female friend or family member about it. Every woman has periods and most talk quite openly about it to other women. There is nothing to be embarrassed about.

It's just old blood. I often get this before I have my period. Yes, it could mean that your period is on its way. Please also let your mom know what is going on so that she can help you to keep an eye on it.
