about it for them when he is one of the ones responsible for driving up medical costs and even doctors going out of business?

He has to parrot the party line. Democrats see themselves as the savior for the little guy. It doesn't matter that it's stupid policies are often the ones that hurt the little guy the most!

Patriot: Why don't you try answering the question rather than going on some rich white guy rant. Rich white guys have been running both parties for as long as I can remember. The question was how can Edwards, a guy who became wealthy filing frivolous lawsuits should then act as if he has a solution from a problem he helped create! Kind of like Al Gore burning up jet fuel trekking all over the country saying we need to reduce our emissions. I say both these guys need to reduce the amount of flatulence coming out of their mouths.

John Edwards, like most politicians on the Left side of the Isle, basically wants to convert the U.S.A. into another Marxist /Socialist type of society where the Government has tremendous power to direct every thing and restrict what is left of your "freedoms" to a narrow band of activities they can monitor ans control.
They see this as good because American Citizens are incapable of managing their own lives so we will all be better off if we just turn over our lives to them. They are the only ones smart enough to manage our daily lives.
The Health Care agenda being pursued by those on the left is the largest single grab for power they can pursue at this time.
They want gun control also but even those on the LEFT don't trust the government to stand still for THAT. Americans instinctively KNOW the reason for private gun ownership is to discourage tyranny at our highest levels of government.
Michael Moore is good at making specious arguments and is an obvious shill for the Left. His movies are carefully disguised propaganda film he lyingly labels as documentaries.Anyone who wishes to take a few minutes to ask Canadian or British citizens how they REALLY feel about Socialized Medicine can quickly get overwhelming disagreement with the story promoted in "Sicko". It is TOO easy to refute.
Our medical system is very costly. We MUST improve the way we deal with the resulting problems.
How much are we willing to PAY for our medical care?
If spending two million dollars would guarantee extending you life for one year but cost you family EVERYTHING, would you spend it?
With Socialized medicine, POLITICAL pressure will ALWAYS demand we spend that money thousands of times over, on a regular basis, day after day, year after year. It will ALAWAYS be argued "What's more valuable? Money or a life?"
HOW MUCH ARE WE WILLING TO PAY?
In Canada and England, those types of decisions have resulted in literally thousands of people dying because they can't get emergency services. Their resulting taxes are extremely high. Those who can afford it go outside of the government system to get their medical services and pay for it anyway (and can't write the expense off their taxes). The rest have to just wait. Hopefully the doctors will get to them eventually.
No choice as to what doctor serves you.

Good morning Ms. Buns, hope you are well.

I believe Edwards position is very consistent with the Democratic Secular Socialists, hypocrisy is their position.

You know the one, I was against it before I was for it, or let me check with my pollster and I will let you know where I stand today.

If you like to read this link is a very interesting article on the capitalist market in health care.

How about HMO's that are paid premiums then won't provide health care. Do you want your MD to be required to get clearance from the HMO accountant before you can receive medical attention?
Drug companies that get huge tax breaks and make millions and successfully lobby the government so people can not buy necessary drugs in Canada are good for Americans? Law suit settlements have had very little to do with rising health care costs, 20-30% of the cost is administative expense.

Curious isn't it. Especially when it was proven the Doctors he put out of business did nothing wrong and were proven to be right in their procedure.
While Edwards pocketed over $400,000,000 from it.
Facinating.

Do you get as mad about the hypocrisy of the Republicans?

Don't you, as a woman, wonder about whether or not they are really representing you when all their candidates for President are white men?

I think you should. I think it's hypocritical of them to say they stand for America and then don't offer candidates that "look" like America. What it looks like is the American elite.

Do you make more than 100,000 grand a year? If not, I think you're pretty dumb to be a Republican. If you do make more than that and you are a Republican, I bet you are a very cold, miserly person.
