You want something, newer, larger, smaller, closer to work, closer to your parents or something with a fireplace.

The truth (or at least some reasonable approximation) would probably be most likely to work unless it's something like, "evicted" or "personality conflict with landlord." If they somehow catch you making stuff up, it's going to look suspicious to them even if your reason for leaving isn't something bad that's your fault. Just try to find a way to say things without badmouthing anyone or saying any negative things that you don't have to say. If your old apartment was the size of a shoebox and your neighbour liked to play the bongos all night, just say you're looking for a place that's larger and quieter. If your current roommate is crazy and you're moving out because you can't stand him anymore, just say you would like a whole place all to yourself. You get the idea.

Yes, I understand that it is a hilarious question and you expect hilarious answers to it. I had received this forwarded email few days back and I admonished my friend for being so rude to the leaders of our country. The application form is a generalized version instead of being a specified one ,suiting the likes of Raja and his ilk. Even Nehru, Shastri and Patel were politicians, do you expect us to disregard them with such unbecoming actions? In today's context, this form may lower the morale of many leaders who want to make a significant impact towards the building of our society and nation. Therefore sir, I cannot respond hilariously to this Q of yours.

Tell the truth. Management will check into the details, including this, and misrepresentation is cause for denial.

Blank. It's an illegal question. They need to be concerned with your personal credit history, not your lifestyle choices.
