here's what im talking about.
1. the internet. to me the internet is a lost cause. there are more bad things on it than good things. it started as a good idea but then was plagued with the bottom-feeders of society.
like people in chat rooms. i went to this 1 chat room(i was bored as hell) and i put a guys screen name on there,(this 1, luv4gunz) and i was just kinda there, not doin or saying much, no 1 singling me out for a private chat, so i thought to myself, what if it were a girl's screen name(i only did it to prove this point) and all of the sudden, guys are asking for my asl, if i have AIM or msnm, etc. all of these perverts are asking me retatrded questions. and with all of these e-predators out there too. makes you think about who you talk too doesn't it?
and with all of this stuff on the news like "girl raped and killed,killer met her online." y don't people learn? it shows how people can b too trusting.... so again, why are people so trusting?

Some people tell all their stories and such and so much information online because they think that those people will never be able to find them, or because they think it's never going to happen to me, I'm safe. When you start thinking it's never going to happen to me that's when problems arise.

People are so trusting because they still have a tendency to think "It'll never/It can never happen to me". Especially teenagers. Most have a feeling of being invincible. Even if they've seen shows like "To Catch a Predator", they still think something like that could never happen to them.

teens are very trusting.. too much so - they think they are imortal or must test death/risk etc
sometimes they want to "prove" they are street smart..or whatever..or are cool
near where I live a 14 yr old girl was invited from a Mall by abunch of other kids..she went with them they took her to a golf couse and raped her then tortured her so bad she begged them to kill her -which eventally they did....

well it could be for lots of reasons they feel intimidated to tell all dat stuff, they might be lying, they might just be as bored as u were, or they really do trust dat person,cause not every1 is bad and u can tell most of the times if sum1 is just sum sick perv

No clue, but people who let things go too far are pretty dumb if you ask me. It's sad that girls trust strangers like that.
