Here lately Ive been noticing that my dicharge has become a lot more milky white then usual, not clumpy or anything, just creamy and milky white.I also has a bad odor to it. My discharge has had a tiny odor before, but I know that was normal. Thie odor is strong and smells pretty bad. Sometimes I can smell it just sitting indian style in shorts. I have no itching, no burning, so swelling or anything. Just weird color discharge and a bad odor. Also, my boyfriend mentioned that I tasted a stronger, and it was bitter tasting like buttermilk or something. Someone give me some insight pleaseeeeee. :(

I can not believe the way these other guys answered this question! How rude!

Anyways-go see your gyn/ob doctor right away. It *sounds* like you have a common bacterial infection called bacterial vaginosis. Of course, it will take a lab test to be sure, but if it is, the dr can identify it while you are in the office; he just has to take a culture from you "down there" and put it under his microscope. And, if it is, a simple medication will cure it. It is not an STD if it is this type bacterial infection, but you may be asked to use a condom until you finish the medication.

If this is not the case, either way the dr will be able to tell you what is the matter. Please get checked though, as there are all types of infections that can cause a milky white discharge, and if not treated properly and quickly, can lead to bad things-even sterilization in some cases.

Good luck.

I have the exact same problem and it's been a problem ever since I had kids. The white discharge is due to the over production of white blood cells being produced in your body that is fighting some kinds of infection. Most likely you have bacterial vaginosis. It's just that your vaginal tract is being taken over by bad bacteria and not good ones. Does it have a fishy smell to it? You definitely don't have a yeast infection. Yeast infections tend to be to spread to the outside of the vaginal area and occupy moist spots like creases etc. I still would have your doctor check it out and that way they can treat it with a broad range antibiotic. This is not always successful however, it wasn't for me. But it's worth a try. Just make sure that they give you an anti-yeast infection med so that you don't come down with a yeast infection.

Go to the doctor. Or at least get one of those Yeast infection test kits that they sell with the YI treatments at the pharmacy. It could be a bacterial infection instead.

That is called an infection. Go see the doc ASAP and get it checked out and make sure your partner uses a dental dam for oral sex until you get it treated and totally cleared up.

You probably should have your OB/GYN check it out. It could be nothing, but it could be an infection. It's better to be safe than sorry and if it's bothering you then it's worth a trip to the doc.

See your gyno. If you don't have one, and you're sexually active, you really should go. It is VERY bad to not get regular check ups. It could possibly infection, chemical imbalance, or hormone change.
