im turning 12 in august and im happy bc ill be a year older but my brothers baseball party is that day and ill be at someones house on my birthday and it will be all about the baseball team and i wanted my party on that day!! my mom said ill bring a cake to marys house but on the bright side they have a HUGE house and a HUGE pool and the ladys who is having the baseball party really injoys me i kinda have mixed feeling about that day but on another bright side there will be a room full of some cute boys should i have mixed feeling or should i be happy im so confused plz plz plz help and plz no stupid anwsers!

try to find the silver lining, the glass half full perspective. you mentioned that cute boys will be there and that you will have your own cake so that your birthday will be recognised. that all sounds good to me. you can always celebrate your birthday the following day with a bunch of you friends or maybe with a boy you met at the party ;-)

It sounds as if you know the answer to your own question, and I suspect you want to be happy. Hey, look at the good things~a HUGH house with a pool, a birthday cake and lots of cute boys. What more could you ask for? I'd be smiling and happy if I were you! You indeed sound like a smart 12 year old, so I have faith you will find that day a happy one.

Don't make a big deal out of it. Birthdays end up being just another day eventually anyways. It wont matter if you celebrate a day from it, a week before it, or a month after. The fact is at least you will have a party. Some people are less fortunate and don't have any friends to have parties..Lol!

I think you should have your party at your house and let your brother go to his party. Your mother is taking away your special day. Maybe you could have your party another day.It should not be combined with a baseball party.Your mother is not being thoughtful.

you should be happy because no matter what event happens that day IT'S STILL YOUR DAY!! Be happy on your b-day have some fun!! Always stay happy even when you're sad try smiling and then you'll find something to smile about. Be HAPPY!!! Make that day the best bc that day is yours! Have fun!!
