wen i type smethin in photoshop cs it won't appear on image could someone help me

There could be any number of causes. The most likely one are:
Your text is on a layer below the image, so it's hidden.
Your text is the same color as the background.
Your font size is so small you can't see it / so large it doesn't fit in the text box.

Since the type tool is actually a new layer, you may need to reorder your text layer to bring it to the front. It may be hidden behind another layer. You also may be typing in the same color as your background.

There is a box with a letter in it and you click on it and a box will open and allow you to select the font you want and the color you want.
