Any other places to get good deals on ticket?
Also, is there any ways to get good deals on Cirque du Soleil in Vegas?

They are not ALL ½ off, AND they charge a service charge.
It's still worth checking with them though.

I don't think that you will ever get the hottest shows, esp on a Fri-Sat night. The deals are Sunday thru Thursday..

The best value buffets are not on the strip.
The strip is for tourists that don't have transportation to get off the strip, and are a captive audience for the overpriced meals. Way overpriced IMO.

Locals eat off the strip.

Try the Orleans, Silverton and Main Street Station (Downtown) for great value buffets, AND you can get 2 for 1 coupons for the buffets by oredering a book called
AMERICAN CASINO GUIDE 2007 Edition. (Author Steve Bourie) Available on Amazon, eBay etc. Coupons good until Dec '07, also good for some shows and a few casino bets.

You need to go downtown and get the FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE fun book coupons for a Main St 2 for 1
It's well worth the cost of the book if you are going to LV for 3 or 4 days or more. LOADS of great coupons in this book.

Silverton Lunch Buffet is $9.95 and 2 for 1 in the book, amazing meal for 2 for $10 !!
Others are $15 max, but 2 for1's are in the book.

You need a car to get off the strip for Silverton or Orleans, but you can take a bus downtown for Main Street Stn.

Th book is WELL worth the cost if you are there for a few days with a car. Have Fun !

The two 1/2 price tickets places are
http://www.tix4tonight >4 locations, 3 on the strip & 1 downtown
http://www/tickets2nite.com >by the Coke bottle

I was just in LV(6/4 - 7/5) for a month - the tix4tonight location downtown was the only one that I checked. I'm sure all of their outlets would have had the same shows available.

The did have the Cirque Du Soleil show "Mystere" but, the tickets were not half price, only slightly discounted >IMHO you would be better off buying tickets as far in advance as possible(120 days) to CDS shows and getting good seats.

Also discounted were
Penn & Teller
Tournament of Kings

Best bargain shows
Mac King - Harrah's >at the booth in the carnival court next to Harrah's they hand out 2-4-1 coupons, usually around show time. This is far and away the best afternoon show in LV

Larry G. Jones - The Man of 1002 Voices - Fitzgeralds - $22-$30 IMHO he's just as good as Danny Gans($100)

Dirk Arthur - Xtreme Magic - Tropicana - $35 >there are usually 2-4-1 coupons for this show in the LV magazine "What's On" >He not as good as Lance Burton or David Copperfield, but for $17.50 it's a great show

American Superstars - Stratosphere - discount & 1/2 price tickets are readily available. >Well worth $20, with a 2-4-1

You didn't ask about buffets! The guy above had some good info. The FSE coupons are well worth the effort, the ACG has some great coupons, the buffet at Main Street Station is the best value buffet in all of LV. The buffet at the Orleans is a very good one, and a good value. >To correct, the buffet at Silverton is average at best(I stayed there 12 nights) you can get to both the Orleans(#201) and Silverton(#117) via the CAT bus by riding the # bus I indicated. Silverton also plans to reinstate their free shuttle that runs from the lower level valet at the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace & from Mandalay Bay(this according to them). The shuttle was suspended when the LV Strip Trolley decided to include Silverton in their service. The strip trolley didn't last long, so the shuttle is coming back.Orleans has a free shuttle that runs from Bill's Gambllin Hall about every 20 minutes.

Besides the ACG - The Las Vegas Advisor POV is a great source of coupons.

Best value buffets in LV
Main Street Station - L,D
Boulder Station - B,L,D
Orleans - L,D
Palace Station - B,L,D
Fremont - Seafood Buffet - Sun/Tue/Fri
LV Hilton - D

We go to LV 2-3 times a year for 2 weeks or more at a time and have for over 20 years.

I believe there is a place on the strip across from the Monte Carlo by the huge Coca Cola bottle that sells discount tickets. It might be called Tickets4Less? Not sure. Yeah, Cirque shows are great, but there is a lot of good entertainment to be had. Do you like Frankie Valle? Try the Jersey Boys or magic? Try Lance Burton, it's old Vegas kinda stuff but I like it.(Besides he is a great guy.) Have fun, look around.

The shows vary on a nightly basis. I was there and recently bought tickets for the Producers. You may also want to look at some free shows, check our http://www.lv4free.com/free_vegas_shows.html
