I just read the book "Rage of Angels" by Sidney Sheldon, in which one lady (Helen Cooper) gives the main character (Jennifer Parker) something called "Wyoming". Whats that? I tried to google the name...but apparently Wyoming is a republican state. The lady concerned drops her voice and tells Jennifer softly that she's gonna give her Wyoming. The chapter ends there. What can it possibly mean?

I'd need more context then just that one line. Wyoming is a mountainous state located in the northern United States. Since this is a political novel she could be referring to the electoral college system of election where each state has a certain number of electoral votes which are tallied to determine who will be the next president.

Well, as someone already said it could be the vote for Wyoming. But it could also be a diamond. I found something called the Wyoming Craton where apparently they may either have found diamonds or are looking to find diamonds.

maybe its a code!!, or a book or anything. maybe she owns a house/land/business in wyoming and is planning on giving that to her. maybe you could see if sidney sheldon has a website and email them and ask. does the chapter end or the book?

I agree with the guy who says it means that she'll give her the state's voting points. ...If you don't get it, I'd suggest you read up a little more on the American political system before finishing the book. :D
